Founded half way trough the last century by Luis Loriente Arribas, as a continuation of the family business of marketing fresh meat and manufacturing traditional Spanish sausages at the start of the 20th century. You con find us in the Community of Castilla La Mancha, in Tarancon (Cuenca), 80 kilometers from Madrid. We have remained on the top echelon of industries of the sector in Spain, always adapting to the market needs, without forgettin our traditional origins. During this time our goal has been constant renovation and technological transformation. Mafrica

Mafrica is a family-run company which specialises in the slaughter of pork, lamb and veal as well as the cutting and production of pork based products. The company started out in 1963 in Sant Joan de Villatorrada in Bages, a county within the province of Barcelona. It began as a slaughterhouse for pork and lamb and with an initial staff of 50. Over 350 people now work in the company which covers a surface area of 40,000 m2. It is among the top Spanish companies in this sector thanks to constant innovation, sustained growth and rigorous standards and guarantees in quality and safety. The company’s philosophy is quality. For this reason, it is equipped with a modern laboratory where the company’s products are controlled. Mafriges

Mafriges is a slaughter, cutting plant and coldstore of pork products, is located in Sant Vicenç de Torello in a traditional region to rise pigs, in the province of Barcelona, at 1 hour from the French border and 1 hour from a major freight port. Since it began in 1984, it has delivered and distributed fresh meat and prepared meat products on a daily basis to retail shops and wholesalers.
